Why Do Humans Suffer More Than Other Living Beings?

A Simple Chetasyog Reflection

Why do birds sing without worrying about tomorrow? Why does a tree never compare itself with another tree? Why does a dog forget yesterday's quarrel so quickly?

Yet human beings often carry stress, fear, regret, anger, anxiety, and endless thinking.

According to Chetasyog, the answer lies in understanding three simple dimensions of life.

1. Life-Is (Consciousness)

जीवन-है — the root

In Chetasyog, consciousness is not a matter of neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, or contemplative tradition. Consciousness is simply knowing — the impersonal, cosmic, choiceless awareness present in every living being. This is called Life-Is.

Life-Is does not think. It does not judge. It does not compare. It simply knows — the way the sun shines on everyone without choosing.

2. Selfeel

स्व-अनुभूति — the instinct

Every living being has Selfeel — the natural intelligence of life. It helps every living being feel, sense, respond, adapt, heal, and survive.

Animals don't wake up asking "Am I successful?" Trees don't worry what people will think of them. They simply live.

3. Self-Me

स्वयं-में — the mind, unique to humans

Human beings have something extra: Self-Me, our mental and emotional individual existence. It thinks, imagines, remembers, plans, compares, judges, and creates stories. This is both a boon and a curse.

The Boon — Self-Me allows us to invent, create, learn, build civilizations, love consciously, cooperate, and explore the universe. Without it, human progress would not exist.
The Curse — When Self-Me disconnects from Life-Is, it begins saying "I," "Me," "Mine." Comparison begins, comparison becomes attachment, and attachment leaves mental impressions that accumulate into stress.

The Dusty Mirror

Imagine your mind as a mirror. Every experience leaves a little dust — an argument, a failure, a heartbreak, an insult, a fear. Each leaves another layer. Eventually the mirror is so dusty we forget its natural clarity. The mirror isn't broken — it's simply covered.

This accumulated dust is called MINE (Mental Imprint Native Emotions). When MINE keeps accumulating, it creates MESS (Mental Emotional Stressful State).

Most people try to remove stress by changing the outside world — a new phone, a new job, a new relationship, more money, more entertainment. These may help temporarily, but if the mirror is never cleaned, the dust keeps returning.

The Chetasyog Way: MEAL

Chetasyog doesn't fight Self-Me. It helps Self-Me reconnect with Life-Is, through MEAL (Mental Emotional Awareness Learning) — observing thoughts, emotions, and mental patterns instead of becoming trapped by them. Awareness becomes the cleanser of the mirror.

The PRAGYA Method

प्रज्ञा — wisdom, in six steps

StepPractice
P — PauseStop for a moment.
R — ReflectObserve what is happening within.
A — ActRespond wisely instead of reacting automatically.
G — GoMove forward without clinging.
Y — YieldReceive every outcome with humility.
A — AcceptAccept Life-Is as the deeper intelligence guiding life.

The Tree Analogy

Think of a tree. Its roots remain deep in the earth; its branches move with the wind. Human beings often become only branches — constantly shaken by every situation. Chetasyog reminds us to reconnect with our roots.

Life-Is is the root. Self-Me is the branch. When the branch forgets the root, life becomes unstable. When the branch remains connected to the root, the whole tree flourishes.

ME Clarity Cuppa

The ME Clarity Cuppa is a simple space to pause — not therapy, not preaching, not fixing people. Just ordinary people sitting together, reflecting, learning, listening, and rediscovering the harmony between Life-Is, Selfeel, and Self-Me. Small reflections create big transformations.

The Wisdom of Wellbeing

Chetasyog is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering what has always been present.

Know Life-Is.
Trust Selfeel.
Understand Self-Me.
Clean accumulated MINE.
Dissolve MESS through MEAL.
Live with PRAGYA.

This harmonious synergy is Chetasyog — the Wisdom of Wellbeing, for Whole Oneself Wellbeing.
